Naver asked us to new design the furnitures at their training institure where the existing furnitures did not function well in the educational environment. We started looking at the desk and made a series of furnitures to make the education easy and smooth. Campus One is the outcome, office furniture collection for the Naver traning institute in Chuncheon. The institute opened in 2014, it was designed in the light of architectural styles and interiors and the study on usability was continued based on an educational program. It was intended to refine previous inconveniences and make furniture that has the distinctive features of NAVER. As a project manager, I was in charge of whole process from concept development to design and production.
The number of devices that we usually use has risen significantly compared to the 2000s. They use laptops, mouse, smart pads, and smartphones. This tendency is also crying out for change in office desks accordingly. We wanted to design a desk combined with cable management in compliance with this tendency.
The desk itself can supply power and a basket was playing important role in cables management. This desk has improved working efficiency with a wide range of work space
Team carrier is a product that supports operations and is provided for each team. Team carrier offers a strage space for laptops and bags and a basket with stationeries and articles needed for having meetings. There are 8 plugs at the bottom that can supply power to all team members. There is a space for a projector can be stored and tray that could supported for a laptop at the top.
The whiteboard and the projector of the team carrier is the best combination that helps fast decision between team members. Anyone can talk about their opinions easily by projecting them onto the whiteboard using the beam projector and share them on the large screen.
The team whiteboard is created for fast communications between team members. The front of the whiteboard has a magnet while the rear is made up of a paperboard used for writing with a pen. There also is a basket in the center to keep board markers, erasers, and pens. The small board at the top can beused for a team signature. The team signature in a lecture hall with hundreds of people can help the members nd their team easily and move around together.
